April 2024
We kicked off our Moneyball Series with a men's & women's Mixer, followed by DUPR 6,7, and 8+ Team battles.  Sponsored by Pescavore and West Peak Spirits, over 160 players participated in this event to support Veteran Surf Alliance -- our goal is to get more veterans on the courts enjoying pickleball!  It was great to have a super fun event plus pay out over $2000 in cash right back to the players, along with other prizes.  See photos & more here.

March  2024
Our 2nd Pickleball Players' Night at Santa Cruz Warriors' Kaiser Permanente Arena, with 40-50 picklers turnout out at each event.  Following soe  pre-game happy hours at Big Basin Vineyards & Abbott Square, we  loved getting close up with the SeaDubs courtside and  hanging in our our own group section.  We scored free t-shirts, cheered at our special welcome on the scoreboard, and got treated to free Penny Ice Creamery cones, courtesy of the Dubs surpassing the 100 point mark in each game vs the South Bay Lakers (LA Lakers' G-league affiliate) and the Texas Legends (Dallas Mavericks' affiliate).

February  2024

January 2024
Our first Pro-Am week was incredibly fun and thrilling, complete with 5 amateur ladders where top finisher qualified to play with 2 pros; clinics taugh by top pros, Play with 2 Pros sessions, and a unique Pro-Am where Joola Pros Ben Johns, Collin Johns, Etta Wright and Jordie Vigna, along with powerhouse pros Irina Tereschenko, Lacy Schneeman, Jack Munro, Roscoe Bellamy, Preston Bies, Rianna Valdes, Jessie Irvine and  Bryanna Ojeda joined to play.  It was a]lso an honor to host their pre-season training week!

It was a rare treat to have pro Jessie Irvine teach over 10 sessions during the course of our Pro-Am week.  She covered her shot selection frameworkand a whole lot more!   (more soon...)

October 2023
The Santa Cruz & Monterey pickleball communities really enjoyed having the fierce Newman siblings in town.  It was great to learn some distinct Riley Newman shots like his shovel shot and get tips on his 2-handed backhand, to seeing his pancake grip live and benefiting from some of his doubles strategies. Lindsey was a total hoot as a fun-loving, but tough drill seargeant.  We loved the Takeya water bottles & so many personal stories.

A group us really enjoyed seeing Riley in full competitoe mode at the following December 2023 PPA San Clemente!

November 2023
Four-time Spikeball World Champion Preston Bies came back into town and fired up a series of jam-packed clinic days with us in Santa Cruz and Monterey.  The always-entertaining, multi-sport athlete help addressed many of our crowd's biomechanics and footwork.  We loved his insights on other top pickleball pros he's worked with, Pickleball getways anecdotes, as well as his own journey on the pro circuit.
