Our first Moneyball event was a fantastically fun 2-day affair with perfect weather and over 160 players from the local Santa Cruz area to as far as north as Rocklin,, plus as far east and south as  San Juan Batista and  Carmel.  We handed out nearly $2000 in cash -- which some generously donated right back to our nonprofit beneficiary, the Veteran Surf Alliance. 

The Friday Mixer was a great way to meet new fellow players and team up with various partners.  On Sunday, we had some fierce battles at all DUPR team levels.!

A special thanks go out to our team and volunteers --  Stoehr Sukachevin, Charlie Grabeel,  Lacie & Janice Bowers, Nick & Cathy Tannaci,  and Kim Saldavia, -- plus our Scoreholio guru Twee Washburn, Scott for the bagels, Scotts Valley Rec, and referee Marie Creed for all their incredible help in making everything go smoothly.   And a shout-out to our fantastic sponsors, West Peak Spirits and Pescavore, both started by mindful local entrepreneurs.
